Annual UTA John Gresley Golf Tournament

6:45 am- 3:00 pm

Join your UTA friends at the annual golf tournament. The North/South Course at the Villas of Grand Cypress Orlando offers a variety of mental and physical challenges that test accuracy rather than strength and distance. The North/South Course is marked by sharply ledged fairways, tall shaggy mounds, and plateau greens perched above water or sand. It is a demanding, target-style test.
The North/South offers a variety of tee boxes making the course enjoyable for top-level golfers and beginners as well.

The 3rd Annual UTA 5k Walk/Run Challenge to Benefit the Scholarship Foundation!

9:15 am – 12pm

Join us for the 3rd Annual Walk/Run Challenge on a beautiful 5K course at Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake. Participants will be shuttled to this scenic park, designed for nature lovers. Both runners and walkers will enjoy the camaraderie, get some exercise, and take in the great outdoors…all while supporting a very worthy cause.

Deep Sea Fishing on the Orlando Princess Catamaran

6:15 am – 4:00 pm

The Orlando Princess is an 80-foot catamaran and the newest all-aluminum party fishing boat in Port Canaveral with 1900 square feet of deck area. Take a half day and catch your limit of Snapper, Grouper, Sharks, Mahi-Mahi, and more! The Orlando Princess is U.S. Coast Guard inspected and certified, and equipped with advanced fish finding and safety equipment. There are clean, separate restrooms, an upper sundeck. Swimsuits are welcome. Buses will depart at 6:45 am Friday morning for the one hour trip to the boat. The boat leaves at 8:00 am and returns to the dock at 2:00 pm.

Wild Florida Tour

9:00 am -1:00 pm

A visit into the Florida Everglades is the wildest adventure you can experience in Central Florida. The Everglades start here! Enjoy a closer look at alligators and exotic wild life as you glide through 4,200 acres of untouched nature preserve on an airboat ride. Experience a part of Florida that hasn’t changed much from when early pioneers arrived in covered wagons in the 1800s. Then stroll through the Gator and Wildlife Park where you can see lemurs, sloths, zebras, and other wild animals native to South America, Africa, and Australia.

Kennedy Space Center

9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Worlds apart from Orlando’s theme parks, but just a short drive away, the Kennedy Space Center is NASA’s launch headquarters. Tour launch and landing facilities, experience live shows and jaw-dropping encounters with massive rockets. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet a real member of NASA’s Astronaut Corps. View 10-story high rockets from all eras of space exploration in the Rocket Garden, walk through a full-size Space Shuttle mock-up, enjoy IMAX Theater space films on gigantic five-story screens, and see an actual Gemini program capsule on display.

Take your time and explore Orlando, have fun at the theme parks, go shopping, or maybe relax at the spa! Sign up for this tour when you register to receive $50 toward your adventure. If you switch tours at the Convention we cannot guarantee you will receive the $50.
