Responsibilities of UTA Board Members
Attend all board of directors’ conference calls or in person meetings as well as assigned committee meetings.
Be informed about our association’s mission, purpose, goals, services, policies, programs, strengths, and needs.
Be prepared by reviewing all agendas and supporting materials prior to all board and committee meetings. • Inform others about the organization. Advocate for the organization. Leverage connections, networks, and resources to develop collective action to fully achieve UTA’s mission.
Maintain confidentiality about all internal matters of UTA.
During your first year, you will be assigned to co-chair a less demanding committee to help you become familiar with UTA’s processes.
