The 2025 UTA Kansas City Reception and Golf Scramble held on June 25–26 was a huge success! This year’s event brought together 236 registered attendees, including 142 enthusiastic golfers, for two days of networking, camaraderie, and competition. We received overwhelmingly positive feedback about our new venue—Argosy Casino Hotel. Members praised the excellent food, top-notch service, and the hotel’s improved cleanliness and quality, which surpassed experiences from the past few years. Supporting the Next Generation Thanks to $39,400 in sponsorships and proceeds from the event, we are thrilled to announce we’ll raise over $50,000 for the UTA Scholarship Fund, providing 12 scholarships at $6,000 each to students pursuing academic or vocational training. | ![]() MEMBERS: Download an

We are especially excited to report a record number of 20 applicants from vocational programs this year (more than ever before)! We’ve also received three academic scholarship applicants. If you know a college student who could benefit, remember: any UTA member can sponsor an applicant, and the process is simple. Visit www.uta.org/scholarships to get started. A Huge Thank You —This event wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of our sponsors (see bottom of this page) and the hard work of volunteers and organizers. Thank you to every member and non-member who participated. We are deeply grateful. Mark Your Calendar for 2026 — Due to Kansas City hosting World Cup events next summer, our 2026 UTA Reception & Golf Tournament will be held the first week of June. Don’t miss out! Let’s keep building on this momentum and continue to support each other—and the future of our industry—through the UTA community. Enjoy these photos from the 2025 Event!
