Dennis made the move into the trucking industry in 2023, after 20-plus years in automotive. In his current position as the Vice President of Commercial Equipment at Assurance, he’s extremely excited to learn the business. What he enjoys most about his new role is the relationships he has built with great dealers and their associates while providing protection products and training services to protect owner-operators and fleet companies.
Dennis heard about the UTA because EPG Insurance, which was acquired by Assurant, is a long-time supporter of the association. Already, he’s taken advantage of attending the UTA convention in San Antonio and the ATD Convention in Las Vegas. But moving forward, he looks forward to continuing to meet more amazing members and building relationships. When he’s not working, you can find Dennis spending time with family and traveling while taking time to enjoy college basketball.

Daniel and co-owner David Trevino first got into the trucking business in 2013, after purchasing a fleet of 10 trucks pulling flatbeds. Now, as co-owners of TA Truck Sales, Daniel and David enjoy interacting with new contacts. Through the UTA, he's hoping to grow those contacts—particularly those in the wholesale space.
Outside of work, Daniel likes to hunt, fish, and everything involving the ranch style of life.

Melissa joined the trucking industry in 2017 as an accountant for a small freight brokerage. From there, she started her own freight brokerage before getting into the driveaway space and founding NXTLVL Driveaway, LLC. As the owner of the company, she loves learning new things every day and interacting with both the customers and drivers.
Some of her employees at NXTLVL introduced her to the UTA. Now, as a member, she’s hoping to learn more about the transportation/driveaway space from her new connections. After work, you can find her hanging out with her dog, friends, and family. She also enjoys exercising, golf, and going to sporting events.

William is a relatively new addition to the trucking industry, joining in 2020 as a Parts Warehouse Manager. He eventually moved from that position into his current role as a remarking product specialist at Premier Truck Group. In this role, William enjoys being able to help set his customers up for success by providing them with a product they can use to make a living.
He found out about the UTA from his colleagues at Premier. Now that William has joined the association, he looks forward to growing with and learning from other people in the industry. When he’s not working, he loves spending time with his wife and two kids. He also likes playing guitar, fishing, and watching college football.

Trey began working in the trucking business is 2017 at a large aftermarket warranty company. There, he worked the claims desk and was eventually promoted to a direct sales position. That lead to his current role as Regional Sales Director at TruckSuite. Trey loves working at TruckSuite because the staff there pushes one another each and every day. He said that everyone genuinely wants to see each other thrive, and it’s an infectious atmosphere.
He discovered the UTA from his company’s CEO, Lynn Murphy. Lynn recommended joining the association in order to grow his customer base. As such, Trey is looking forward to the exposure that he’ll get as a new member. Particularly, he’s looking forward to hearing new connections, and opinions on the state of the business and getting a better understanding of the wide swath of needs in the market. Outside of work, you’ll find Trey working hard on the basketball court, coaching the award-winning Forsyth County Day. He’s been at it for the past 12 years, and recently won the state championship.
